Fort Lauderdale Hilton Hosts and Protects Suspected Terrorist Fundraiser! 2

Fort Lauderdale, FL – This past Sunday on Father’s day I arrived to the Ft. Lauderdale Hilton to cover a fundraiser held by the Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW). The fundraiser was advertised to raise monies for the “children” and other humanitarian needs for those in Palestine. Many believe this organization to be a front group to raise monies for the terrorist group Hamas. Hamas, “Islamic Resistance Movement” is the Palestinian Sunni Islamic or Islamist political party that governs the Gaza Strip. Hamas also has a military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. Hamas is known worldwide to be a supporter of terrorism against Israel and the United States. I was distrustfully refused entry to the event and organizers refused to comment on the event’s abrupt closing to the public.
The Wikipedia definition of the Islamic Relief Worldwide described as follows: “Islamic Relief Worldwide is an international relief and development organization consisting of a family of 15 aid agencies that aims to alleviate the suffering of the world’s poorest people. They are inspired by their Islamic values, and envisage a world where communities are empowered, social obligations are fulfilled, and people respond as one to the suffering of others. It is an independent Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in the UK in 1984 by Hany El Banna. Exemplifying its Islamic values, IRW works to mobilize resources, build partnerships, and develop local capacity, as they work to enable communities to mitigate the effect of disasters, prepare for their occurrence and respond by providing relief, protection and recovery.”

The key word read in the Wikipedia’s definition and mission statement is the word protection that fuels concerns of those who do not wish the funds to end up in terrorists’ hands. Under President G.W. Bush’s administration many organizations similar to Islamic Relief were prosecuted and convicted in jury trials as having indirectly or direct funding terrorist organizations. Under President Obama’s watch the policing of such relief organizations. At the event protesting and objecting were the Tea Party Fort Lauderdale and Tom Trento’s United West group. United West is a Non-for profit organisation that follows groups like IRW and reports to the public on his findings. See tom in his video above.
Many individuals attempted to attend the fundraiser to observe and dispel their suspicions, but were rudely prohibited from entering this advertised public event. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department (FLPD) along with FTL Hilton’s private security officers blocked Broward residence from entering the forum at the request of the organizers and even had one reported hotel guest evicted from the hotel property. Other guests and Fort Lauderdale Tea Party (FLTP) members complained that they were refused entry for being Jewish, Christian, and other reasons. Another individual was upset because he believed that he was denied because of his skin color. No matter the reason what troubles me most is why the FLPD would lend themselves to enforce exclusionary practices based on one’s religion and skin color. Also, the Hilton Hotel security intimidated many of the hotel guests who after questioning their exclusion were threatened with arrest, ejection, and confiscation of their electronically recording devices.
Pam Geller, who is an expert on the IRW states that the Islamic Relief USA is a spinoff of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), which is headed up by Dr. Hani Al-Banna. Al-Banna was formerly with the Muslim Aid (MA), a London-based Islamic “charity” based in London that was a “partner organization” with the Al-Salah Islamic Association, a Hamas fundraising machine headed up by Ahmed Al-Kurd, whom the U.S. government officially designated as a terrorist. Muslim Aid also worked with groups linked to Jamaat-e-Islami, the Muslim Brotherhood of Pakistan.
IRW received $50,000 from a front for Osama bin Laden in 1999, and has given millions to the jihadists in Chechnya. And IRW official Iyaz Ali has admitted to aiding Hamas while serving as project coordinator at IRW’s Gaza branch in late 2005 and early 2006. Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that “incriminating files were found on Ali’s computer, including documents that attested to the organization’s ties with illegal Hamas funds abroad (in the U.K. and in Saudi Arabia) and in Nablus. Also found were photographs of swastikas superimposed on IDF [Israeli Defense Force] symbols, [as well as photos] of senior Nazi German officials, of Osama bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, as well as many photographs of Hamas military activities.”

In conclusion, the FLPD was duped into assisting the IRW who clearly did not want the general public to know of its activities in the FTL Hilton. If this group had nothing to hide why was the press and others barred from observing. At the end many Muslims guests that were allowed to attend left emotional letting those excluded know how disliked they were by shouting epitats and foul mouthed names. One member of the pressed was battered in the parking by a small mob of IRW supporters. In the end I must opine…Shame on the FLPD and the FTL Hilton for allowing these types of shady events to be hosted in Broward County.
